The location is fantastic – especially when container ships pass by at night, creating a great backdrop. The combination of winter garden and terrace is ideal! The food was excellent! All four courses were both delicious and beautifully presented! The service left nothing to be desired: fast, super friendly, and attentive. The bar set up in the room was very practical and was happily used by us and our guests. It was a fabulous celebration until 4 a.m. We’d love to come back anytime!”

“By now I’ve been to ‘Am Kai’ several times as a wedding photographer. Whether for a big celebration with a party on the dance floor or a cozy evening with family and friends – ‘Am Kai’ has something for everyone. Thanks to the terrace, you’re super flexible if you want to spend time outside in good weather. And of course, the view is perfect for a maritime flair. Every time I get to photograph a wedding here, I’m absolutely delighted!”

“We were here for a business dinner with 70 people. There was a delicious buffet that met every expectation. Even vegetarians and vegans were well catered for. Everything was beautifully presented, easy to serve, and tasted absolutely wonderful. The wine and cocktails complemented the food perfectly. The staff was very attentive, worked flawlessly, and was friendly. Absolutely recommendable.”

“With friends as a group at Au Quai. Usually, at group events you get the same bland standard fare. Not here! The food, despite the large number of people, was excellently prepared and very creative. The service was attentive at all times and no less friendly late at night. We felt comfortable until the early morning hours. On top of that, Au Quai offers a terrace with a spectacular view of the Elbe and the ships passing in and out. If you’re lucky with the weather, the evening is perfect. Ours was!”

“Here today, tomorrow dancing into May – the service here is pure passion for life, shown to every guest. The quality of the food is excellent. The terrace is a wonderful viewing platform – we just watched the Queen Anne sail past the railing. Yesssss, we’re happy to be regular guests; it’s simply trumpet-galactically awesome here.
